CAMP FAQs

VISA Process

If you have a UK, EU, USA passport you do not require visa to Germany. All other passport holders outside Europe are likely to require visa, but please check before booking your flight.

Please send requests for Letter of invitation to admin@rccgeuyouths.org with the following information:

  • Your full name
  • Your phone number (WhatsApp preferably)
  • Your country of residence A copy of your passport data page.
  • Name and Address of Embassy in the country you are currently in.
    Response from admin regarding Letter of invitation will take 48 hours, you should receive the letter in approximately 72 hours.

We can issue a letter of invitation but there are some other things that need to be considered when applying for a visa. It is important to check the german embassy website of your country of residence to see if Visa requirement is applicable to you. Kindly connect to the German embassy website of your country to know the requirement specific to you based on your country of residence.

Recommendation: For those finding it difficult to get an appointment, you may try applying for tourist visa in any of the Schengen countries, however be advised that the visa issuing country may need to be your first country of entry (For example if you apply for a Schengen tourist visa to Estonia, you may need to arrive in Estonia first before Germany). Below you will find the list of Schengen countries.
The 27 Schengen countries are Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.

PLEASE BE ADVISED that we are not responsible for visa processing, we also have no influence over the visa process.

Registration

Registration Fee includes accommodation, feeding (Thursday Dinner to Sunday Lunch), airport shuttle to & from BER and concerts on the camp. An Airport Pick request form will be published on the website in June. Please complete the form and include your flight Itinerary.

Pick up schedule will be published one week before the event More details on Airport pickup at the airport pick up segment below.

The registration fee does not include flight

The camp is for age 13 and above

No, they are to be accompanied by a guardian, a youth leader with parental consent.

You can register just for the concert only, concert only registration starts on the first of July.

This fee DOES NOT INCLUDE feeding or accommodation.

Family with children under 13 years old; or an adult (an Older Sibling or a Parent) with a child under 13 is considered for family room, this attracts an additional fee of 50 euros.
The child under 13 years old will be assigned same room with the accompanying adult.
Whereby a child over 13 years old, the Child will be assigned separate accommodation amongst attendees with same age group. We will consider over 13’s that need to be placed with the family due to special circumstances.
PLEASE NOTE – due to limited availability of spaces family room is NO LONGER AVAILABLE.

There is no discount for group registration. The group option is for people who want to pay at the same time. To be fully registered for group registration payment has to be done using the external link. Before Arrival

Bed sheet, pillows cases, blankets and towels (provided)
Sports activity clothes and shoes (for outdoor fun & games)
Toiletries(soap,shampoo, toothbrush/paste,dental floss etc.)

Flip-flops or sandals for the shower
PLEASE NOTE Modesty/decency is emphasized on camp

If you have sensitive skin you can bring your own bedsheet and blanket, but note that this will be provided
If you have any medical conditions, please bring your medications e.g. inhaler, EpiPen, antihistamines, lactase tablets etc.
sunscreen, insect repellent lotion, personal disinfectant are things you can consider based on your preference and sensitivity

Location and Arrival

BER (Berlin Brandenburg Airport Willy Brandt)

This year the camp is located at Seezeit – resort Joachimsthaler Str. 20, 16247 Joachimsthal, Germany.

If you are coming with you personal or rented car, simply put in the address on any navigation app and you will be directed to the camp
BER airport is approximately 60km from the camp which is about 1hour

Airport Pick up is provide from BER Berlin Airport only. If you are coming in by train please make your way to the airport which is the pick up point

An Airport Pick request form will be published on the website in June. Please complete the form and include your flight Itinerary.

If you live in Germany and need pick up. Also, complete the pickup form and arrive at the BER Berlin Airport for pick up.

Yes, on the premises there are enough parking spaces.

You’ll need your Identity card or passport.

Program

Camp kicks off on Thursday Evening after Dinner and end on Sunday Noon.

No, there are dedicated programs for Teens which is separate from Youths and Young Adults.

Due to the nature of the camp, the responsibility of the toddlers and children under 13 will solely be on the parents/guardian.

Venue

Yes. However please be advised that due to multiple factors i.e. location.
Connection may be poor.

Rooms are allocated by age group and gender. Male and Female are separated. The allocation is designed to create an opportunity for delegate to be in the same room with similar age groups and get to make new friends.

Volunteering

Yes, you can volunteer in a maximum of two departments. Most departments will have a roster, allowing you to serve in more than one department.

Registration to join the worship team is now closed.

You can register to volunteer, and the Team leader will communicate the department requirement and acceptance criteria.
Please be advised that there is a possibility of being reassigned to a different department based on need.

Refund Policy

We have a NO REFUND policy. However for extenuating circumstances, please send and email to admin@rccgeuyouths.org on or before the 30th of June.

Although we are occupying most of the camp we need everyone to be responsible and safe. We are trusting God for an amazing, impactful camp, do not go off the resort.
