ROLE PURPOSE

The Director of Administration provides leadership and oversight for the ministry’s administrative and operational systems across the continent. The role ensures that effective structures, communication systems, coordination processes, and operational standards are in place to support the wider ministry

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and oversee continental administrative systems.
• Establish effective coordination and communication processes.
• Develop policies, procedures, and operational frameworks where required.
• Coordinate administrative activities across regions and departments.
• Maintain systems that support effective information flow and decision-making.
• Identify administrative inefficiencies and implement improvements.
• Support the SLT and Directors with effective administrative processes.
• Ensure appropriate documentation, records, calendars, and workflows are maintained.
• Coordinate cross-departmental operational requirements.
• Provide regular reports on administrative performance and challenges

LEADERSHIP & PEOPLE RESPONSIBILITY
• Build and lead an effective administrative team.
• Establish clear roles and responsibilities.
• Train team members in appropriate administrative systems.
• Develop leadership capacity within the administration function

ACCOUNTABILITY
The Director is accountable for the effectiveness, consistency, and efficiency of the ministry’s administrative systems
