ROLE PURPOSE

The Director of Finance provides financial leadership and stewardship across RCCG Youth Continent 9. The Director oversees budgeting, financial accountability, event funding structures, financial processes, and sustainability planning.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and oversee the continental financial framework.
• Lead budgeting and financial planning.
• Establish appropriate financial controls and accountability systems.
• Monitor income, expenditure, and approved budgets.
• Support departments and regions in responsible financial planning.
• Develop appropriate funding structures for ministry initiatives and events.
• Monitor financial sustainability and identify potential risks.
• Ensure appropriate financial reporting to leadership.
• Work collaboratively with relevant Directors and the SLT on financial decisions.
• Ensure financial processes align with applicable governance and legal requirements.

LEADERSHIP & PEOPLE RESPONSIBILITY
• Lead and develop the continental finance team.
• Establish clear financial responsibilities.
• Promote financial literacy and accountability among relevant leaders.
• Develop systems that reduce financial risk and strengthen stewardship.

The Director is accountable for the financial stewardship, transparency, and sustainability of the ministry.
